Colquitt County’s first baby of 2011 was a 7 lb,. 8 oz. boy who was born Saturday, January 1, 2011 and greeted with an array of gifts from local merchants. Leon Donald, son of Leon and Charlotte Donald, was delivered by Dr. William Moore at 12:02 a.m. Mrs. Donald is a patient of Dr. David Adcock.
He was showered with gifts from Everything Special, Flowers by Barrett, CRMC Volunteer Auxiliary, The Pink Pearl, Belk’s, Cranford’s, CRMC Maternal Infant Department, Wilson’s, Main Street Galleria, Dalton’s Chicken, Heritage Embroidery, Three Crazy Bakers, Lazarus, The Prescription Shop, Patio Express Lane, Blue Sky Grill and Market Bar-B-Que.
