Williams Named Director of EMS and Non-Emergency Transport
Amy Williams, paramedic, who has worked atColquittRegionalMedicalCenterfor more than 14 years, has been named director of Emergency Medical Services and Non-Emergency Transport forColquittRegionalMedicalCenter.
Williams, who came to Colquitt Regional Medical Center in April of 1998, has been the EMS coordinator for the past four years. Prior to being EMS coordinator, she was a shift captain.
Williams graduated from Southwest Georgia Technical College with her EMS-I certificate and Wiregrass Technical Collegewith her paramedic license. She is currently enrolled at DartonCollegeto continue her education in the nursing field. Williams is a Moultrie native and graduated from Colquitt County High Schoolin 1998. She is married to Michael Williams and they have three daughters.
“I have always enjoyed working in the field of emergency medicine and always enjoy working with and taking care of patients,” Williams said. “I look forward to leading theEMSand non-emergency transport departments into the future.”
Williams is also heavily involved with the Colquitt Regional Medical Center Relay for Life team, the Region 8 EMS Directors Association and the EMS for Children.
