PrintKids Care Clinic to open April 16
Colquitt Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the opening of Kids Care, an After Hours Pediatric Clinic. The clinic is scheduled to open April 16 and will offer pediatric care.
The clinic will be staffed by four pediatricians, including Dr. Andy Wills, Dr. Melanie Wills, Dr. Patricia Lee June and Dr. Thesalee Randon, who will treat patients with non-emergency illnesses and injuries from newborn to age 21. The pediatricians will see walk-ins from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Jim Matney, CEO and President of Colquitt Regional Medical Center, says, “we have been offering pediatric services with pediatricians for many years. However, the community has shown a growing demand for an after-hours pediatric-youth care service. By offering this service, parents have an option when their regular physician’s office is closed and medical attention is needed. We see this as a service to our community and we are glad to offer this service,” he said.
Dr. Andy Wills, Moultrie pediatrician, says, “instead of calling your physician at night or making a trip to the emergency room for acute minor illness or injuries, Kids Care After Hours Pediatric Clinic offers convenient and immediate care for your child. Our team of after-hours pediatricians and staff serves your family as an extension of your regular physician’s care. We will communicate with your regular physician regarding your child’s medical issues and the care administered by us to ensure a continuity of their care.”
The clinic is located at Colquitt Regional Medical Center’s Med+Care Urgent Care Clinic in the Wal-Mart shopping Center of Moultrie. Med+Care Urgent Care Clinic is now open six days a week with no appointment necessary. Hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
