Dr. Adam Jones has joined the Colquitt Regional Medical Center Medical Staff and has begun practicing in the emergency room.
Dr. Jones, along with Dr. Tina Flanagan, Dr. Dale McGregor, Dr. Robert Sasine and Dr. Michael Thayer, is on the team of emergency room physicians who see over 27,000 patients each year. When asked why he chose a career in emergency medicine, Dr. Jones stated, “I love the daily challenges faced in the emergency room setting. I am looking forward to meeting new people and working with a great team of physicians, nurses and EMT’s.”
Dr. Jones received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia inAugusta,Ga.where he also completed his emergency medicine residency. He is a member of theAmericanCollegeof Emergency Physicians and the Emergency Medicine Resident’s Association. He is board eligible in emergency medicine.
Dr. Jones and his wife Kayla, both graduates ofColquittCountyHigh School, moved back to their hometown ofMoultrieafter he completed his residency. They have three children,Ben,Lydiaand Sam. He enjoys spending time with his family, being active in his church, and exercising.
