Colquitt County’s first baby of 2009 was a 9 lb, 13.4 oz. boy who was born Friday and greeted with an array of gifts from local merchants. Mylann Bussie, son of Isha Majors and Michael Bussie, Jr., was delivered by Dr. David Adcock at 1:45 p.m. He was showered with gifts from Colquitt Regional, Wal-Mart, Lazarus, Heritage Embrodery, Main Street Gallery, Uniform Gallery, Medicine Shoppe, Jill Stringfellow Photography and Peebles.
